you were expecting a photo of a beautiful locale, weren’t you? sorry to disappoint. was looking through my photo archives and came across this gem.
this pic was taken in munich at a museum outside of the city limits. i adore puppets but these things are scary. it’s as if a disturbing german art house film has come to life.
These puppets are by Buchheim and are shown in his museum at the Starnberg Lake. He is also the author of the novel “Das Boot” on which the movie is based and there’s a room in the museum which displays the movie production photos.
i couldn’t remember the name of the museum. thanks helen.
still, they scare me…
I think they are supposed to be disturbing. Puppets are inherently disturbing, like schizophrenia
